VOICING v6 / SECOND-ORDER ADAA

Feel the pick.
Hear the note.

High gain should respond to your hands. Voicing v6 uses second-order antiderivative anti-aliasing in Ferrum, Bastion and Vyper, with double-precision nonlinear processing to reduce the unwanted high-frequency artifacts that distortion can introduce.

The result is a smoother drive response that keeps the shape of your attack. Existing saved rigs retain their chosen sound version.

BEFORE YOU PLUG IN

A few practical things.

Do I need a DAW?

No. Open the standalone app to play and record. Use the VST3 plugin when you want Cassian inside a compatible Windows DAW.

What do I need to connect my guitar?

A Windows x64 computer, an audio interface with an instrument input, and headphones or speakers. Use the manufacturer’s ASIO driver when available.

Does Cassian need an internet connection?

The core engine runs offline. This website connects to GitHub to verify downloads; playing in Cassian does not require an online session.

Are the drums and bass included?

Yes. The free core includes the integrated Band screen, 15 genres and 75 grooves. You do not need a separate MIDI instrument plugin.

Is this a finished release?

Cassian 8.0 is a public beta. Keep copies of your sessions and share any reproducible problems through the issue tracker.
